Exhibition Tour: Thy Kingdom Come In-Person

Join us for a curator-led tour of Pitts Theology Library's exhibition Thy Kingdom Come: American Evangelicalism from George Whitefield to Contemporary Politics. This exhibition curated by Dr. Brandon Wason and Dr. Eric Moore traces evangelicalism in America through the 250 years following George Whitefield’s death, contextualizing its history, beliefs, and diversity. In addition, the exhibition pushes against monolithic portrayals of evangelicalism in the media and seeks to show the significance of this movement within the broader American culture. Tours meet at the main entrance of Pitts Theology Library and proceed to the gallery at 1:00pm. Exhibition tours are free and open to the public. Pitts Theology Library is located on Level 2 of the Candler School of Theology at 1531 Dickey Dr. Atlanta, GA 30322.
