Exhibition Tour: A Book More Precious Than Gold In-Person
Join us for a curator-led tour of Pitts Theology Library's exhibition A Book More Precious than Gold: Reading the Printed Book Alongside Its Previous Owners and Readers. This exhibition presents examples of books and the marks left by their readers, each adding a new layer of meaning to an individual volume. While the printing and publication of a book finalizes its content, it also marks the beginning of an ongoing conversation with its readers in which we are invited to participate.
Tours meet at the main entrance of Pitts Theology Library and proceed to the gallery at 1:00pm. Exhibition tours are free and open to the public. Pitts Theology Library is located on Level 2 of the Candler School of Theology at 1531 Dickey Dr. Atlanta, GA 30322.
