This workshop guides graduate students through essential research skills and strategies. Participants will learn how to leverage key resources, including using the university library catalog to locate books and theses, and accessing major journal databases such as JSTOR and the ATLA Religion Database for peer-reviewed articles. The session covers effective search techniques and tips for evaluating sources. Hands-on activities encourage exploration of digital archives and subject-specific online repositories. By workshop’s end, students will be equipped to efficiently gather, organize, and assess scholarly materials for advanced research projects.
